Short version: Human Token stores all data locally on your Mac. Nothing is ever sent to external servers. No tracking, no analytics, no accounts.
Human Token tracks which apps are in the foreground on your Mac and accumulates a weighted token count based on your activity. This data is stored exclusively in macOS UserDefaults, which lives on your device only:
Human Token makes two types of outbound network requests:
The app makes no other network requests. Your activity data never leaves your device.
NSWorkspace, file activity uses mdfind (Spotlight) — both work without user permission.humantoken.app is hosted on Cloudflare. Cloudflare may collect standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) as part of their infrastructure. No additional analytics or tracking scripts are used on this site. No cookies are set beyond what Cloudflare requires for security.
Pro license purchases are handled by Paddle, our payment provider and Merchant of Record. Paddle collects and processes your payment details in accordance with their privacy policy. We receive only a confirmation that a purchase was made — no payment details are shared with us.
All data is stored in UserDefaults on your Mac. To delete it, go to Preferences → System → Reset All Data, or uninstall the app. There is no account to delete and no data stored on our servers.
